Eric Soulavy

Eric Soulavy is the founder and visionary behind Blue Jay Capital, a privately owned real estate investment and management firm, and is responsible for directing the group’s overall investment and development strategy. Eric manages all aspects of Blue Jay Capital’s development projects, including 121 Marina, the highly anticipated new residential condominium project under development with Ocean Reef®.

Eric’s extensive global business and travel experience has influenced his ability to envision the potential transformation of both existing assets and vacant sites through repositioning or ground-up development.

Though his family lineage originated in Spain and Hungary, Eric began his real estate career in South America, where he developed an extensive background in luxury customer sales and services.

Eric currently resides in Key Biscayne, Florida with his wife and three children.

Chief Operating Officer

Daniela Godigna

Daniela Godigna is the Chief Operating Officer at Blue Jay Capital. She is responsible for the daily operation of the company, and routinely reports to the highest-ranking executive. Daniela has unique background in Network Security and Administration. She has extensive experience working as a Web Security Manager for world-renowned International Foundations as well as an AIT Enterprise Security Manager for a Venezuelan oil and natural gas company. It specializes in exploration, production, refining and exporting oil, as well as exploration and production of natural gas.

She brings 15 years of entrepreneurial and managing considerable experience. Prior to joining Blue Jay Capital Ms. Godigna founded three tier businesses dedicated to food, recreation, import, retail sales and wholesale areas. Ms. Godigna graduated with a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela.

Director Of Development

Joel Reed, AICP

Joel Reed is the Director of Development at Blue Jay Capital. Joel brings 15 years of experience as an urban designer and planner working in the development field. He leads ground up and redevelopment projects from entitlements to construction. Joel is responsible for coordinating and executing teams of architects, engineers, consultants, pre-construciton teams, marketing and sales team for the execution and delivery of projects per the project vision, schedule and budget.

Prior to joining Blue Jay Capital Joel’s experiences provided him with considerable knowledge, understanding of the development process given his history as a municipal planner, designer and development consultant in the private sector. Developments lead by Joel benefit from his public sector knowledge in review and enforcement and his private sector work as a designer and applicant.

Mr. Reed graduated with a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois and is an AICP certified planner, #023192 (American Institute of Certified Planners) certified Planner. He also is also a current member of the American Planning Association, APA Georgia Chapter and Congress for the New Urbanism.

Director of Finance

Ryan Homan

Ryan Homan is the Director of Finance of Blue Jay Capital. Mr. Homan brings over 10 years of real estate investment analysis experience for both existing and proposed assets. He directs the acquisition, financing, repositioning and asset management of Blue Jay Capital’s real estate portfolio, as well as the daily operations of the office.

Prior to Joining Blue Jay Capital, Mr. Homan was an Associate Director with Integra Realty Resources-Miami, where he led the market research team. His focus included the analysis and feasibility of multifamily rental and residential condo projects across South Florida, among other asset classes. Mr. Homan is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Mr. Homan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration, Finance and Real Estate & Urban Analysis, from The Ohio State University.

Director of Construction

Hugo Garbati

Hugo A. Garbati joined Blue Jay Capital in 2014. As Director of Construction Hugo brings over 12 years of experience in the construction industry specializing in critical path method scheduling and cost analysis in both commercial and residential construction. Hugo’s experience involves a wide variety of projects including retail, industrial, airport, hotels and apartment buildings. Mr. Garbati received his Bachler of Science in Business Administration /Accounting from the University of Florida. He is a licensed certified general contractor Lic# CGC1516575 in the State of Florida.

In addition, Hugo has been involved in the on-site construction management and administration of several large residential/commercial projects. Hugo has deep understanding of the construction industry, as the project’s “eyes and ears” he provides the onsite representation to make sure that construction proceeds in accordance with contract documents, on time and within budget.
