Eric Soulavy
Eric Soulavy is the founder and visionary behind Blue Jay Capital, a real estate investment and development group. Eric is responsible for directing the group’s overall investment and development strategy.
Eric’s extensive global business and travel experience has influenced his ability to envision the potential transformation of both existing assets and vacant sites through repositioning or ground-up development. Eric was responsible for the acquisition of existing luxury auto dealerships, and the site selection, design and development of new dealerships for a group of luxury auto brands.
Though his family lineage originated in Spain and Hungary, Eric began his real estate career in South America, where he developed an extensive background in luxury customer sales and services.
Daniela Godigna
Daniela Godigna is responsible for the daily operation of Blue Jay Capital and coordinates all accounting, human resources, asset management and investor relations. Daniela has an extensive background in Network Security and Administration. She has experience working as a Web Security Manager for world-renowned International Foundations as well as an AIT Enterprise Security Manager for a Venezuelan oil and natural gas company. Her previous company specializes in exploration, production, refining and exporting oil, as well as exploration and production of natural gas.
She brings 15 years of entrepreneurial and managing considerable experience. Prior to joining Blue Jay Capital, Ms. Godigna founded three tier businesses dedicated to food, recreation, import, retail sales and wholesale areas. Ms. Godigna graduated with a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Ryan Homan
Ryan Homan is responsible for overseeing all of Blue Jay Capital’s development activities. Mr. Homan analyzes all new investment opportunities and develops the business plan for each selected project. He organizes the entire development team and structures the capitalization of each project.
Mr. Homan was previously mentored by Anthony Graziano at Integra Realty Resources, where he led the South Florida development consulting group.
Mr. Homan graduated from The Ohio State University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.
Hugo Garbati
Hugo Garbati is responsible for the oversight of all Blue Jay Capital construction. He is a critical team member from pre-development through completion of the asset. Hugo has over 15 years of construction experience, involving a variety of projects including retail, industrial, government, rental apartment and luxury condos. Hugo coordinates the entire construction process, including developing the constructability, engineering and budgeting analyses.
Mr. Garbati graduated from the University of Florida, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He is a licensed certified general contractor Lic# CGC1516575 in the State of Florida.
Cristiana Barcenas
Cristiana Barcenas has been practicing Interior Design for more than twenty-five years and leads the design direction for all Blue Jay Capital projects. In order to pursue her passion for design, she moved from her birth country of Nicaragua, to the United States, where she completed her degree. While completing her studies, Cristiana participated in designing the Trump Towers in Sunny Isles. She then lived between Milan and London, where she met her mentor Patricia Urquiola. In Milan, she spent ten years working with Studio Urquiola, where she specialized in hospitality and retail interiors managing projects such as the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona, the W Hotel in Vieques, Flos and Moroso Showrooms in Europe, and the Scholtes Showroom in London.
Most recently she returned to Miami and started a collaboration with Blue Jay Capital, as well as working with her own firm, on a range of high-end commercial and residential projects. Her interiors are designed to reflect not only her detailed vision of the spaces, but her client’s ultimate intentions to achieve a successful design aesthetic.
Ms. Barcenas has a Masters of Interior Architecture from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, a Specialization Degree in FF&E and Procurement from IED, and a Bachelor of Interior Design from Florida International University.
